Mimi ma 1152g (duplán csekkolva) és ha nem egy szuperbébi, akinek a különleges tulajdonsága az, hogy egy nap alatt hízzon 10%-ot (nagyon remélem, hogy nem), akkor a tegnapi 1058g (=fogyás) nem volt korrekt.

Elmaradt hírek (a hímzés és a varrás lefoglalt): Vasárnap még ott voltam, mikor egy nővérke beviharzott és megkérdezte, hogy kit lehetne átköltözetni az "érettségiző" szobába, merthogy ott van hely, itt meg nem lesz, mert hármasikrek jönnek. Két pályázóból Mimire esett a választás, mert bár ő a legkisebb ő a legstabilabb is, és hát ha valakinek mennie kell....
Nem mondom, hogy felhőtlen volt az öröm, 16ml/kaja (most már 17ml ami naponta már egy adag narancslé, jön fel, mint a talajvíz) miniként bekerülni a nagykutyák közé, akik már 50-60mlt is megesznek egy evésre.

És hogy érezzétek: itt 11-12 gyerekre két nővér jut és a fő foglalatosságuk a pelenkázás és az etetés, valamint néha a ritkán pittyegő monitoron nyomkodni pár gombot. Ez azért nagy változás elég rövid idő alatt és nem azt jelenti, hogy Mimi nem kerülhet vissza az előző szobába (főképp nekem kell emlékezni erre), de ha nincs rá ok, akkor bizony innen már haza fog jönni, ha sikeresen lekoraszülöttérettségizik.
Ehhez a következőket kell tudnia:
a) oxigén nélkül lélegezni egyedül
b) nem elfelejteni lélegezni és szívdobogni
c) egyedül enni (cső nélkül)
d) fűtés nélküli ágyban aludni (nem azért, de ez itt Angliában nekem sem mindig megy, pláne nem télen!), azaz szabályozni a saját hőmérsékletét - ez általában 2kg körül kezdődik
Erre még van két hónapja azért minimum.

Ha a pelenkacserekor lezavart inkubátorkörbeszarás is a listán lenne, akkor egyet már simán ki tudnánk pipálni:)

Mimi weighs 1152g today (double checked) and unless she's a superbaby who's superpower is that she can gain 10%of her body weight in one night (I hope not!) then yesterday's 1058g (weight loss) wasn't correct.

Unwritten news (been too busy with embroidering and sewing): On Sunday I was still there when a nurse came in and asked who could be moved to the "graduating" room, because there is space and here won't be any because triplets are coming. Mimi got chosen from the two possible applicants altough she was the smallest the most stable as well and someone had to go...
I wasn't all happy about it, 16ml/feed (that is 17ml now that is one orange juice serving, she's catching up) mini got into the room with the high rollers who already eat 50-60ml per feed.

And to demonstrate: in this room there are only two nurses for 11-12 babies and their main duty is changing nappies, feeding and sometimes push some buttons on the screens. All this is rather big change in a short time and it doesn't mean that Mimi wouldn't go back if needed (it's especially I who have to keep this in mind) but if there is no reason to do that she will come home from this room if she graduates from the preemie school.
For that she needs to know the followings:
a) breathing by herself without oxigen
b) not forgetting to breath and make her heart beat
c) eating by herself (no tubes involved)
d) sleeping in a bed without heating (just to say, I am not always able to do this last one in England, especially in the winter), ie. being able to control her body temperature - this generalléy starts around when a baby reaches 2kg
To do all this she still got 2 months minimum.

If shitting all over the incubator while mom is changing nappy was on the list we could already tick one:)
