Szóval Mimi kikerült ma az inkubátorból egy fűtött matracos kiságyba. Ez már érett tegnap is (méréskor 1473 gramm), de nem akarták a nővérkék elsietni. Ami nagy változás (azon kívül, hogy Miminek most extrán kell dolgoznia azon, hogy a hőmérsékletét stabilan 36.5-37 körül tartsa) az, hogy bármikor kijöhet az ágyből, amikor csak szeretném, nem kell nővérkét hívni, hogy kivegyék. Persze csak óvatosan örülünk (á, dehogy ugráltam mint egy tízéves az ajtó előtt, mikor megláttam), biztos ami biztos...

Alakul a gyerekszoba is, kifestettünk, lerakták az új szőnyegpadlót és a falmatrica is megérkezett - Ark kicsit elszállt a bagolynál:)
A kiságy azonban nem olyan kicsi, 70cmx140cm, három Mimi méretű gyerek is kényelmesen elkalimpálna benne.

Új fejlemények szupertehénügyben is: a szupertehén feladta a szuperségét már csak normál tehén. Némi munkával és kísérletezéssel sikerült lemenni kb. felére annak, ami volt, ez már abszolút menedzselhető állapot. Viszont mivel holnap nyit a Tejcsarnok...izé...Regionális Tejelosztó Központ (asszem) engem is meghívtak a Zeseményre, mivel én vagyok az egyetlen anyuka, aki már végigment az egész folyamaton (vérvétel, vizsgálat, kérdőív, információelolvasás, aláírás, stb.). Ez eddig sima ügy, azonban pár napja elkezdték pedzegetni, hogy itt lesz ám a BBC meg az ITV, tévé, rádió, anyámtyúkja és hát ők interjúvolnának engem, hogy hát izé, jó munkásember donor anyuka monnyon már pár szót a tévének/rádiónak. No ez érdekes lesz az én erős kelet-ojrópai akcentusommal és a döcögős angolommal. Reggel 7.20kor kezdek egy telefonos rádióinterjúval, kíváncsi vagyok a) mondják-e a nevem, b) ha mondják is ki tudják-e ejteni.

Mondom a Zuramnak: Ark, mikor 16 évesen a tévében akartam szerepelni, nem teljesen erről álmodoztam. Mire ő: hát a melleid nem a szokásos módon segítenek a sztársághoz, az tuti.

So Mimi got out of the incubator, into a hot cot. This was due since yesterday (she weighted 1473g) but the nurses wanted to be careful. The big change (apart of that Mimi needs to put some extra work in keeping herself stable around 36.5-37 celsius) is that she can get out of the bed whenever I'd like her, don't have to call the nurse. Of course we are only cautiously happy (so no, I definitely were not jumping up and down in fron of the door) just in case...

The nursery is getting into shape, we painted, the carpet got done and the wall sticker got delivered - Ark got a bit sticker-happy when putting the owl up:) The cotbed is huge though, 70x140cm, good for 3 Mimi sized baby.

New development in the supercow situation: supercow gave up her superpower and turned into a normal cow. It took some work and experimenting to go down cca half of the amount I was wexpressing before and this is a way more manageable quantity. Since the Dairy Farm...err..Regional Human Milk Bank opens tomorrow I was invited to the opening reception because apparently I'm the only mom who went through the whole process (blood test, checkup, form filling, leaflet reading, consent signing, etc). So far it's smooth sailing but a couple of days ago I got some shy questions whether - seeing that BBC, ITV, tv and radio will be there too -  would I, as a good donor mom willing to give a short interview to the BBC. This is going to be interesting, with my thick Eastern-European accent and jerky English. I'm starting tomorrow at 7.20 with a radio interview on the phone and I'm curious whether a) will my name be mentioned b)if so will they be able to pronounce it properly?

I was just telling to Ark: when I was 16 dreaming about being in TV this wasn't exactly what I was hoping for. And he: your boobs make you a star in nonobvious ways.
