Mimi is poorly. Keeping in mind that better safe then sorry she's been put on antibiotics although we don't know whether she's actually ill: she's been throwing up, have a hard/bloated tummy and the nappies are not getting full as they should. The worst thing is when she's awake she isn't that active baby she generally is, just lying there a bit weak. I have to tell it was a bit of a shock yesterday, so much indeed that I had to go for a three minute crying break to the loo, it was a bit too much to see the IV (covered by a sock on the picture) was a bit too much Some things why I am not very just medium worried now: by the evening she got better and it seems by this morning she didn't get any worse.
And yesterday the two of us tried breastfeeding what can be so hard about it? You get the child, she opens her mouth, breast in, voilá. Of course everyone who tried knows it isn't that simple, there is a reason that breastfeading consultant nurses exist. And now everyone please consider: I'm 14 stone /90kg with big breasts, my daugther is circa 2lb/1kg and with that comes a lovely but tiny mouth. As my mom would put it: like a thimble on a pumpkin.
